Murals

“There Is Room For All To Bloom”

River City Church : 11×39 feet : Vancouver, WA

Commissioned through the Clark County Mural Society’s Summer of Murals program in partnership with Fourth Plain Forward

One-Of-A-Kind Artwork For Your Business & Home

Commercial & Residential : Interior & Exterior : Custom Designed & Hand-Painted

Process & Consultation

If you are interested in a statement-making work of art for your home or business, please fill out the form below. I am then happy to set up a free consultation via Zoom and we can further discuss the details of your unique project and vision. Please plan on being able to visually show me your project wall while we video chat. I want to create a piece of art that you will enjoy and treasure for a long time, as well as accurately determine the cost of your project based on the specifics of your site and your individual needs.

After this initial consultation, I will provide you with up to 3 project concepts and estimates via email, which will each include a detailed price breakdown. Once you select your desired concept and approve the estimate, we move forward with artwork mock-up.

Pricing

Prices start at $25 per square foot, with a project minimum of $3,000. There are many factors I take into account when pricing your mural, including:

  • wall size and location
  • surface material and condition
  • interior vs. exterior
  • accessibility, including overall height
  • level of detail in design
  • materials
  • surface prep and/or anti-graffiti finishing
  • travel time

50% of your total project cost is due at the time of signing our Commission Agreement, and the remaining 50% is due upon the completion of the mural.

Artwork Mock-Up & Commission Agreement

Artwork mock-up begins once you approve your design concept and estimate. The Artwork Fee (as outlined in your approved estimate) is due before sketching begins. All my artwork mock-ups are created digitally in Procreate, with the artwork images super-imposed onto your project wall for the most accurate representation of your final project. The non-refundable Artwork Fee for a project mock-up is typically a minimum of $200-400, but may be higher depending on the scope of your project. This fee also includes up to two artwork revisions– I want you to absolutely love your new mural and be 100% happy with all elements of the design. If more than 2 revisions are needed, an additional fee of $90 per revision will be charged and will be due immediately.

Once the Artwork Mock-Up has been given full approval (including color palette), we will sign a Commission Agreement that outlines the project in detail and fully protects us both. The total project cost and timeline (barring adjustments for inclement weather or unforseen circumstances) will be thoroughly outlined in this agreement and signed by both parties before painting begins so there are no surprises at the end. Fifty percent of your total mural cost is due upon the signing of this contract, which allows me to purchase supplies and reserve the project dates in my calendar. The remainder is due upon completion of the mural.

Murals inspire and energize a town, unite a community by encouraging participation from all ages and walks of life, beautify streets while decreasing vandalism, and foster a greater appreciation of the visual arts and the identity of the city.

A Shareable Feast
A Collaborative Mural with Court-Involved Youth

Maplewood Moseley Community Garden @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, 2024 : Three 4′ x 8′ Panels

Funded in large part by an Arts, Culture, and Heritage Grant from the City of Vancouver, this collaborative mural was created in conjunction with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, Maplewood Moseley Community Garden, and the Restorative Community Service program at Clark County Juvenile Court. The artwork for these panels was developed through a Community Listening Session at UUCV, as well as through a series of three hands-on workshop sessions with RCS youth. The artwork was painted by youth and RCS volunteers over a series of three full painting days led by the Artist. The Artist completed finishing touches, final linework and sealant in her studio, and the panels were then installed along the north fence at the Maplewood Moseley Community Garden to beautify and uplift this important community space.
